Cat President and Puppy Dog VP

This session occurred on July 22, 2024. 

My session started off with cats.  I don’t own a cat or think about them so this was odd.  But I went with it.  Cats everywhere.  All different kinds of cats.  Then there was this one cat that felt like the president to me.  She was standing at a podium (I know cats don’t stand up on their back legs but this was my trip.  I don’t make it up, it just comes.) She felt powerful and although she wasn’t talking in words she seemed to be in charge and taking no shit.  Then there was this cute little puppy dog that seemed to be her VP.

Imagine me describing this to Jym after my session.  I always tell him what I experienced because you often lose a lot of it as time passes and I am usually not in any condition to write it down in that moment.  

So then as I was watching the cat president my focus zoomed in and her face was covered in tiny blocks of the “wisdom” (the Aztec looking symbols I often see in my trips) and as I got closer to it, her face morphed into the heart of a giant being.  At fist I only saw the torso.  It was a large powerful figure covered in the armor of wisdom.  This being (I say being because it felt possibly male but there was no clear sex) was enormous, like a giant and as my viewpoint lifted toward the head, there was no head.  Only an outline of a head.  It was transparent and all of the light of the universe was pouring into and out of it.  It was a very powerful moment for me and one of the most powerful trips I have ever had on Spravato.  It felt calming and reassuring.  I wish I could go back to that moment in my head and relive that when I am feeling down or sad.  It was truly amazing. 

After I went home that day and rested, I turned on the news that night and JD Vance was referring to Kamala and the “cat lady” comment was made.  My husband came into the room and said “OMG! Its your cat president!  Who will be the puppy dog VP???” Weeks later he came to me and said “I know who the puppy dog VP will be.  Look.” And he showed me a picture of Tim Walz and said he was sure that Tim would get the ask because he was the most “puppy dog” like. LOL.  Lets hope the wisdom of the universe does indeed lead back to that cat president and her puppy dog VP.

It's All In The Wrist

 After yesterday’s kick off to my back-to-back sessions going very much against plans, I decided that I needed to take steps for today.  I have a 1pm apt and since I am fasting I needed to occupy my time which I did with some writing on another project I am working on.  But I set myself a firm fast 11 pm deadline to stop.  I also limited my social media which was another suggestion Caitlin made.  I know that social media has a negative affect on the brain so it was the reminder I needed to put it away.  At 11pm I stopped what I was doing and laid down to do a 10 minute meditation.  I could not find the healing one I was planning to do so I found one on letting go which seemed appropriate.  It had me write words down and throw them into a mental fire which I did.  So I am feeling slightly less agitated right now and hope that will last thru the drive and treatment. 1 Year In: The Bad Trip

 #38.  I have not had treatment in over a month due to work commitments both on my part and Jym’s and the holiday (when the clinic is closed). I have had an extremely difficult last 2 months being away from home with work and some added work stresses and I was probably not in a place to physically test my mental fortitude in my already fragile remission but here we are.  Although I felt the slipping early on, I hoped it was possibly due to my nervousness about the whole month with no treatment thing combined with a very stressful work situation and that I would level out emotionally but the last 2 weeks in particular have been a struggle and one that was far deeper than I imagined.  To add to my constant battle to keep my head above water, one of the PGA TOUR players at the tournament I was doing, took his own life.  (the last entry) It was a sobering reminder of how quickly and easily one can slip into the darkness.  I have to be constantly vigilant....

The End of the Journey?

 Well the day has come for me to end my Spravato journey.  Or at least it appears that way.  I am at least closing this chapter of it. This is not by my choice but by the clinic’s choice as they called me last week to notify me that they would no longer be open on Mondays which are the only days I can receive treatment due to my job.  And even those days are difficult for me.  In all honesty I was only staying on as a crutch of sorts.  I hit remission at month 9 but I felt it was important to continue for monthly maintenance because I was worried about slipping out of remission.  That is why it is called remission and not CURE.  I have been in remission before and it was amazing.  I was able to accomplish so much in terms of my life like losing weight.  Now I also know how hard and quickly you can slip out of remission and I am afraid there will be nothing there to catch me.  Once you stop, your insurance approval wanes and your...
